The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer comes with quite a few delicious and nutritious recipes that anyone should enjoy. But, here are a few benefits that maybe you haven’t thought of. For example, did you ever think your kids would eat all of their broccoli or spinach without complaining and maybe even THANKING you? With the right recipes, they will, and it’s not nearly as difficult or time consuming as all those fad diets you’re always hearing about.
You can make delicious sorbets, warm and cozy soups, and great tasting good for you juices. Now, here are those recipes…
Bobbi Sue’s Pineapple Wheatgrass
handful of wheatgrass
handful of spinach
Juice the wheatgrass wrapped in spinach first. Add the pineapple spear to juice the wheatgrass through.
Bone Aid
1 cup cherries (pits removed)
1 sweet potato
1/4 turnip
Juice all ingredients in the Jack La Lanne Juicer.
Carrot Ginger Soup
2 cups carrot juice
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 1/2 tbsp. ginger juice
fresh black pepper
Mix all ingredients. Chill before serving. Add pepper to taste.
Daily Detox
6 stalks asparagus (remove fibrous end)
1/2 lemon
1/2 cucumber
Add to juicer in listed order. Alternative to asparagus: endive, watercress.
Elaine’s Vegetable Garden
1 small tomato
1 carrot
1 small red pepper
Juice all ingredients in the Jack La Lanne Juicer.
Fresh Carrot, Apple & Ginger
2 medium carrots (washed, topped, and tailed)
1 crisp apple (washed and stems removed)
1 inch of fresh root ginger (washed)
Juice all ingredients in the Jack La Lanne Juicer.
Garden Vegetable Soup
4 tomatoes
2 cups fresh tomato juice
2 florets of cauliflower
1/2 cup of spinach
1 clove garlic
1/2 red pepper
1 carrot
1 piece fennel 1 inch thick white only
1 fresh sage leaf
Use the juicer to get 2 cups of tomato juice. Place all ingredients in a blender and puree. Simmer in low heat for about 5 minutes. Season with sea salt and pepper.
Jack’s Super 7
2 carrots
1 potato
2 broccoli florettes
1/2 small beet
1/4 red pepper
1 tomato
1/4 cucumber
Add to juicer in listed order.
Melon Shooter
1 watermelon wedge (rind removed)
1 honey dew wedge (rind removed)
1 cantaloupe wedge (rind removed)
Juice each separately and pour into shooter glasses.
Pineapple Wheatgrass Sorbet
2 pineapple spears
handful of wheatgrass
handful of spinach
Wrap wheat grass in spinach
